If there was a place to hold animals captive, it would be called a zoo. I really don't like the fact that people waste their time searching for animals that will later be trapped in a cage for the rest of their lives. Animals are deprived from their natural habitats. Why can't they be set free and fulfill their dreams? They are just like people. They're born, they live and they die in peace. We don't spend our time in a cage, so why should they? If you think about it, what have they done to deserve this? It's like a punishment. It might not be a punishment because they get to have the chance to see new things and they are learned about. If we take the time to think about these creatures that are suffering and desperately need more space and do something about it, it won't be bothering us. Like I said, these animals are just like us. We want to be with our families and enjoy life and so would they. How would you feel if you were snatched from your family and were never able to see them again? Well look at what these animals are going through. Millions of animals are taken to the zoo as an attraction and subject of learning each and every year, but in reality most are sad and depressed. These animals actually benefit us and they don't get anything in return. Sure, they might get a treat, but does that really mean anything? I don't think so because giving them a treat isn't showing much appreciation for them and isn't enough to reward them. Therefore, I believe animals should have say (although they can't talk) in having the opportunity to be free and not be in captivity.
