Zoo Debate

If there was a place to hold animals captive, it would be called a zoo. I really don't like the fact that people waste their time searching for animals that will later be trapped in a cage for the rest of their lives. Animals are deprived from their natural habitats. Why can't they be set free and fulfill their dreams? They are just like people. They're born, they live and they die in peace. We don't spend our time in a cage, so why should they? If you think about it, what have they done to deserve this? It's like a punishment. It might not be a punishment because they get to have the chance to see new things and they are learned about. If we take the time to think about these creatures that are suffering and desperately need more space and do something about it, it won't be bothering us. Like I said, these animals are just like us. We want to be with our families and enjoy life and so would they. How would you feel if you were snatched from your family and were never able to see them again? Well look at what these animals are going through. Millions of animals are taken to the zoo as an attraction and subject of learning each and every year, but in reality most are sad and depressed. These animals actually benefit us and they don't get anything in return. Sure, they might get a treat, but does that really mean anything? I don't think so because giving them a treat isn't showing much appreciation for them and isn't enough to reward them. Therefore, I believe animals should have say (although they can't talk) in having the opportunity to be free and not be in captivity.

Marlene's Random Questions

I'm bored so I'm gonna ask some random questions. Why do cows go moo? Where did the idea of jelly beans come from? Why are fish slimy? Is it possible to lick your elbow? Is it true that when you lick your elbow you turn into the opposite gender? Why are lemons sour? Why are potatoes lumpy? Do we as people smell but we don't know it? Why are pineapples pokie? Why do animals have whiskers? Why does tofu wobble? That is all I can think of right now eventually I will come up with new questions. The elbow thing kinda creeps me out and gives me goosebumps.

My Dedication

There is a song under the post "Singing at School". If you listen the song, you might think it's a pretty song. Well, I want to dedicate that song to a very special person. I'm not going to say any names here but I'm pretty sure you know who I'm talking about. I just want to thank that person for coming into my life and changing it. This person is someone who can be nice and loyal to others and I really love this person for being like that. Thanks so much, person!!!!

Singing at School

I can't believe I did it. I sang in front of the entire school! I was so nervous but as I was singing I thought, "This is a piece of cake". Everyone was cheering for me and I was so happy. I was turning red!! That was the first time I have ever felt like that. People all around the school were telling me I sang awesome. But I didn't believe them. i felt like I sang horrible. If you want to know what song I sang, it's called Some Kind of Love by Phil Stacey. I hve it somewhere in my playlist but you can look it up on youtube!!!

God Gave Me You by Dave Barnes

My New Favorite Music

Now that I heard this Christian rock band called Skillet, I can't get enough of it. I now love all their songs. If you want to listen to their songs I have them close to the end of my playlist. Enjoy!!!!
